1.498 CR39 plastic - is used as 'standard'
. Great optical quality.
Consider 1.6 Freeform or Trivex. 1.6 is better vision Trivex is very light and very impact resistant making it also good for rimless frames; where impact resistance is required such as sports.
Trivex /Polycarbonate - Thin light wieght great for rimless lenses. We will preform thickness calculations and based on your requirement glaze Trivex or Polycarbonate depending on our expert opinion.
1.6 Lenses
These are of a peak optical quality and thinner than Trivex - they are strong and on certain types of impact tests just as strong as Trivex.
Trivex can be considered better for rimless glazing or when the wearer chooses a lens to be tuff and light.
1.6 Lenses are ideal lenses for rimless when thin and lite lenses are required.
1.67 Lenses
These are very thin and can be now machined by computer technology so as to be 'freeform' or Bi Aspheric. This improves the appearance of the lenses by making them even thinner light and having better vision as everywhere you look has been exquistiely designed to ensure optimum vision by backward raytracing the light beam from the object through many many points on the lens through it and on the back surface to create vision that is wide clear and precise - rich with colour and definition. It is enhanced vision.
1.74 Lenses
The most thin and can be now machined by computer technology so as to be 'freeform' or Bi Aspheric. Or normal 1.74 Lenses are thinner than 1.67 lenses and our 1.74 Bi Aspherical are the thinnest lenses to date available on the Market - so called 1.76.

See the blog for a more detailed definition - we can say we supply the latest most cutting edge technology - providing the thinnest lenses.
We do glasses lenses by request and 1.76 lenses are also the same as 1.74 treated as bi AAspherical.
1.76 - these are Bi Aspherical 1.74 lenses
We now can supply Transitions lenses ( we use proper transitions lenses ) across the whole range of lenses including 1.74 lenses.
